Modern automation technology requires motor systems that are able to realize fast acceleration and high cycle rates while moving heavy loads accurately and with a high degree of control stiffness.
The synchronous motors CMP40 to CMP 100 cover these two areas up to 178.8 Nm.
Costs can also be saved in continuous operation. Based on the same motor platform as
MOVIGEAR®
the efficiency can be reduced by up to 30% compared with conventional asynchronous motors. The efficiency advantages of synchronous technology really pay off here.
No resistance losses on the rotor thanks to permanent magnets
No fan friction, as no fan is installed
The most important energy-saving properties in detail:
The magnetic field necessary for creating torque is not generated by induced currents, but by permanent magnets. No ohmic losses occur at all.
In asynchronous motors, a fan is usually installed at the B end for cooling. Synchronous motors are always designed without forced cooling.
Losses due to fan friction and air resistance do not occur.
The latest production technologies and an innovative motor design allow for synchronous motors with a compact shape. Single-tooth winding and
a high copper fill factor minimize losses from useless leakage fields in the winding overhang that occur in motors with coil winding.
This is why leading food and beverage producers rely solely on CMP motors when it comes to continuously operated motors in their energy-efficient systems.
A complete system solution with the modular MOVIAXIS®
servo system adds the energy saved by the synchronous CMP motors to that saved by the servo inverter.
