Energy Saving Solutions for Fresh Air Supply Taking Supply Air for Buildings as an Example
The supply air system consists of a total of 96 individual fans installed on the roofs of the factory halls.

Previously, the fans were driven by pole-changing motors directly via belts. Variant 3 is the most energy saving retrofitting measure with DVE energy efficient motors and MOVIDRIVE® inverters with energy saving function. Complete retrofitting to the new drives will already pay off after 2.7 years. This calculation does not yet include the additional advantage of greater availability and lower maintenance costs of a "new" system.
